Los vestidos largos de fiesta.

Cada vez es más habitual tener eventos de etiqueta a lo largo de todo el año. Si nos decidimos por un vestido de fiesta largo con el que nos veamos glamourosísimas, divinas y dignas de pisar la alfombra roja del Kodak Theater, tendremos que saber llevarlo bien. Porque, como diría el tío de Spiderman, "todo gran poder conlleva una gran responsabilidad". Pues así es, tío Ben, tu frase lo mismo vale para el sentido arácnido que para el sentido estético. ¡Y tú sin saberlo!

Para llevar bien un vestido largo de fiesta es fundamental...tener amigas y en su defecto, una buena dependienta.
A la hora de encontrarlo, y por muy básico y de perogrullo que parezca, debes ir preparada mentalmente. Realmente es muy difícil verse pasar de los vaqueros a la fiesta en un probador minúsculo y puede que mal iluminado.
Procura llevar un sujetador sin tirantes ya que se adaptan a vestidos asimétricos, con tirantes y sin ellos (luego si lo compras con tirantes, ya podrás buscar otro, pero de este modo te verás bien pruebes el vestido que pruebes).
Puedes ir a probarlo con los playeros del gimnasio, las botas del cuartel o las chanclas de playa...pero por favor, cuando lo pruebes lleva o pide prestado a la dependienta un par de tacones. Te verás mejor. Es bastante difícil ver el vestido precioso que llevas puesto si en el campo de visión también tenemos unos calcetines de deporte con dos raquetas cruzadas...

Si tu vestido necesita algún tipo de adaptación es importante que te marquen los arreglos cuando lleves la ropa interior y el calzado definitivo, el que vayas a llevar el día D.

En cuanto al largo del vestido aquí hay que hacer un punto y aparte.
Dos cosas: Los vestidos largos no se llevan de pesca. Y las cortinas no son vestidos (a no ser que te apellides Trapp, claro. Ambientación).
Es decir que los vestidos largos son largos, pero lo justo.

El largo justo es al ras del suelo o, en caso de llevar sandalias sin plataforma, que asome por delante justo la suela.

¿Qué debemos evitar?
1.Que se vean los dedos (no hablo ya del empeine). Esto acortará nuestra figura. Si el vestido es de gasa y lleva un forro que se transparente el forro debería ser del mismo largo. No vale de nada que la gasa sea del largo correcto si a través del forro vemos los pies, el tobillo y esa marca de nacimiento tan graciosa que tienes allí.

2. Que arrastren. Por poco que arrastre ya va a ser un engorro, cuando tengas que subir escaleras lo pisarás y es fácil que al caminar o bailar lo pises . Por no hablar de lo incómodo de andar continuamente levantándolo para poder moverte. 

Una vez que sabes esto matas dos pájaros de un tiro. Irás glamourosa a las bodas y, en caso de que éstas sean un tostón, estarás entretenida viendo quién sabe y quién no.

Red carpet dresses

 

It is increasingly common to have etiquette events throughout the year. If we decide to wear long dress in which we look very glamourous, divine and worthy to tread the red carpet at the Kodak Theater, we'll must know how to wear it right. Because, as Spiderman's uncle would say, "every great power comes great responsibility".  Well yes, Uncle Ben, a phrase the same goes for the spider sense and for the aesthetic sense. And you unknowing this!To get along a long dress party is essential ... to have friends and failing that, a good saleswoman.In order to find that dress, you should go prepared mentally. It is really difficult to see the transition in you from jeans to red carpet outfit in a tiny and maybe poorly lit fitting room.Try to wear a strapless bra that fits dresses with straps, asymmetrical and strappless ones (if you buy it with straps, and you'll find another another bra that fits best, but this way you'll look good however is the dress you try).You can go shopping in your trainers, sleepers, your army boots or your beach flip-flops ... but please, ask the shop assistant to lend you a pair of heels. You will look better. You will see your final outfit easier. It's pretty hard to see the lovely dress you're wearing if we  also seehave sport socks with two crossed rackets ...
If your dress needs some adaptation is important that you mark the arrangements when wearing the underwear and footwear you're going to wear D day.

As for the length of the dress here is to do a full stop.Two things: Long dresses are not created to go fishing. And, two, curtains are not garments (unless you are a member of the Trapps, of course. Not to mention the discomfort of walking continually lifting to move.Once you know this you will kill two birds with one stone. Going glamorous and flawless to weddings won´t be the same. And if they are boring, you'll get along finding who knows how and who does not.
