Los chevrones o zigzag son tendencia. Se trata de un estampado fresco, jóven y muy favorecedor que solemos encontrar más en verano que en invierno. Así que vamos a prepararnos para llevarlo correctamente este verano.
Para ello tenemos que diferenciarlo de las espigas. Los chevrones son líneas diagonales opuestas y de un solo trazo, puedes dibujarlos sin levantar el boli del papel. Por el contrario, las espigas son en dos trazos independientes. Habitualmente vemos los chevrones en telas de verano (algodones, modal...) mientras que la espiga suele ser invernal (tweed, lanas...).

Las encontraremos en distintos grosores,colores y orientaciones. Al recibir todo el protagonismo hace pasar desapercibida nuestra figura. Y esto es un plus, porque al ser un dibujo óptico al 100% disimula que es un primor. En cualquiera de los casos se convertirán en el centro de nuestro look y por eso debemos combinarlo con tonos neutros y lisos. También se combinan con pequeños estampados liberty, pero particularmente no soy nada fan.

Menos efecto adelgazante
Rayas más estrechas (y, por tanto, más numerosas)

Prendas largas (vestidos largos o pantalones)
Combinación con colores no neutros
Prendas ceñidas al cuerpo. Las líneas pueden verse distorsionadas por nuestras curvas. Nada peor que una línea recta curva.
Efecto más favorecedor:
Rayas más anchas (y, por tanto, en menos cantidad)
Bicolor
Prendas cortas
Combinación con tonos neutros
Prendas no ceñidas. Las líneas diagonales serán rectas y no curvas, por lo que adelgazaran, y el posible volumen que se aprecie no se distinguirá si viene de la fuerza del estampado o de nuestro cuerpo.

Se trata de un estampado muy versátil: desde el día para trabajar, quedar con las amigas o ir a la playa hasta la noche pasando por una ceremonia.
