James Bond is THE MAN.

Yo creo que el título lo dice todo. James Bond, es EL HOMBRE. Icono de elegancia y porte.

Está más de moda que nunca debido a la grabación de la nueva película y, aprovechando que se rueda en Londres, se ha pasado por la ceremonia de inauguración de los JJ.OO. a darse un garbeo con Elisabeth.

Ella está sembrada. Ese "Evening, Mr. Bond" me ha captado pa los restos. Y de divina que es, a no ser que estés en territorio US, no deja añadir aquí la ventanita directa a la escena del cameo. Pero, lo adjuntaré a lo cutre.

Por si fuera poco, hasta el 5 de septiembre puede visitarse la exposición  "Designing 007- fifty years of James Bond"  que, para los amantes de todo lo que rodea al agente secreto, sería un lujo poder admirar. La galería Barbican acoge esta exposición. 

A lo largo de la historia de las películas del agente 007 hemos visto a diferentes actores interpretando a James. Recuerdo que, cuando de pequeña veía las películas, Sean Connery me parecía un hombre viejísimo. Y con los años pues ves que era un Sansón, que diría Jose Luis López Vázquez. Más tarde llegó Pierce, que parecía insuperable. Y luego, el advenimiento de Daniel.

Sansonismo puro y duro.

En cuanto a la estética de James cabe destacar que, por muy antiguas que sean las películas, su look resulta siempre actual por muy europeo, dandy, sofisticado o rudo que se quisiera poner. Las solapas, hombreras y largos de chaqueta van variando, pero de una manera elegante, consiguiendo que el traje se vea actual sea de la época que sea. Este vídeo lo explica. Al fin y al cabo esa es para mí la clave de ser elegante: que, por muchos años que pasen, los estilismos de las fotos no se vean desfasados.

Mi Daniel.

Me tiene loquita, pero loquita. 

No sé si habréis notado que no he mencionado a Timothy Dalton. Pues eso.

Y ya en otro orden de cosas...a mí me habían dicho que en la nueva entrega de Bond Skyfall salía Javier Bardem interpretando al villano y ahora veo el tráiler y descubro que el malo malísimo es...Pilar Bardem!



Quien a los suyos se parece, honra merece...

I think the title says it all. James Bond is the man. Icon of elegance and poise.More fashionable than ever due to the recording of the new film and, taking advantage of shooting in London, he went through the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games to take a spin with Elisabeth.She is great. Her "Evening, Mr. Bond" was awesome.

What's more, until 5 September there´s an exhibition: "Designing 007 - Fifty Years of James Bond".  That would be nibe to visit for lovers of all that surrounds the secret agent.
The Barbican Gallery hosts this exhibition.Throughout time, we've seen different actors playing James roole in 007 movies. I remember when I was little to watch Sean Connery´s ones, he seemed a very old man. And over the years,  as you see it again you realized he was hot. Then came Pierce, that seemed insurmountable. And then, the advent of Daniel.
According to James looks, they are very actual, european, dandy, sophisticaded or rude regardless of how old are those films.The flaps, epaulettes and jacket are varying lengths, but in an elegant way, getting the suit to see whether the current time it is. This video explains it. This is for me the key to be elegant: the styles you wear on photos are not outdated even though it was a long time ago.
I do not know if you have noticed I have not mentioned Timothy Dalton. That's it.And in another vein ... I had been told that in the next installment of Bond Skyfall Javier Bardem will play the villain role and now I see the trailer and find that the villain is .. his mother Pilar Bardem!
Whoever resembles theirs, deserves honor ...
