Las ediciones limitadas me fascinan. Los diseños originales y colaboraciones me parecen una gran idea tanto para los mitómanos coleccionistas que se lo pueden permitir, como para aquellos que no podemos, pero que nuestro lado artístico no puede evitar que nos fijemos y admiremos lo original de determinada pieza limitada.
Hoy he tenido la suerte de poder regalar esta monada, glamourosa, chic, girly a tope!

Se trata de una botella de champagne Veuve Clicquot Rosé con bolsita enfriadora plegable de regalo. Para el picnic en el parque sacando la bolsita con Clicquot! En la playa utilizando la bolsita para mantener fresca mi agua mineral! En un barco! En mi palacio! Si es que lo veo...lo veo!!!
Las historia de las bodegas es muy interesante. La mujer del hijo del fundador, Nicole Barbe de Ponsardin, se quedó viuda a los cinco años de casarse. Su suegro pensó en cerrar la bodega por la tristeza que le embargaba pero fue ella la que en 1799 no cejó en el empeño de continuar al frente. Le salió tan redonda la cosa que a los 27 años se hizo con la bodega, la expandió y exportó teniendo como más fieles fans a los rusos, que ya sabemos de qué pie cojean.
Pero como es de bien nacidos ser agradecido, va la viuda Clicquot -veuve Clicquot, y le concede al viajante (antes)/comercial(ahora) que etiquete las botellas con el color amarillo de las casas de San Petersburgo. ¡Detallazo, Nicole!

Me encanta hacer regalos así. Un detalle nada caro si pensamos que la botellita de la foto, encontrada junto con otras 7 por un buzo entre los restos de un naufragio de principios de s. XIX, se ha subastado este 8 de junio por un valor de 96.500€.

This is a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé Champagne plus a folding gift chiller bag. Taking the bag with a bottle of Clicquot to a picnic! On the beach using the bag to keep my cool mineral water! On a boat! In my palace! If I see ... I see it!
Clicquot wineries´story is very interesting. The son of the founder's wife, Nicole Barbe Ponsardin, was widowed for five years of marriage. His father in law thought about closing the winery due to the sadness that was upon him, but it was she who in 1799 did not relent in the effort to continue working in it. She did her best because at age 27 she expanded and exported her cellar with the invaluable assistance of the Russians, people who we know they know how!
As gratitude is the sign of noble souls, widow Clicquot -veuve Clicquot, accept her salesman to label the bottles with the yellow color of the houses in St. Petersburg. That´s a gesture, Nicole!
